Today when the alarm went off I jumped right out of bed so I could see how long it was going to take me to get ready with my new hair style. I was at Mom and Daddy's about 10 minutes early then on to work about 10 minutes early so I have calculated it takes the same amount of time to do my hair like this as it did to just run the brush thru it the other way.
Today went rather well there were some oh really moments this morning but on the whole it was good. This after noon a teacher came into the office looking for another employee and I told him "she is in a meeting", "well" he said " she will want to know about this, there is a fire burning all around by her house and she might want to go home and check". They were taking the Jr high boys to the baseball field and saw the fire so they returned to the gym for safety and he came to find her. She left and was meet by her husband and the fire dept when she got home, they were able to contain it and luckily just lost two old out buildings. Fire is so scary around here and with these temps and lack of rain it just gets worse and worse.
While I was on my lunch break I was looking at prices for flights next summer as I am hoping to make it to Guam, I was pleasantly surprised to see I could get some for as low as 1300. each, that is more than half of what Mom paid for her ticket. I need to get onto ordering my passport.

So this evening I asked Patience to throw away something for me since she was heading right past the trash can on her way down the hall, she then tells me " I am already past it" I said " I'll remember that" she then said " no you won't you don't remember things" ha ha she knows me so well.

And now for our joke, tonight's joke comes to us via Mom who read it and knew we would all enjoy it as well, Thanks Mom!
A three year old regularly watched football games with his father. So much so, that he knew some of the signals the referee makes.
On a recent Sunday, the three year old attended church with the family. As the pastor raised his hands high to offer a blessing the child interrupted the service by shouting "TOUCHDOWN"
you posted early enough for me to read it tonight instead of the morning. just a little bit longer till the draft starts! i hope you have a great week! Laurie

ReplyDeleteThanks, Jenny.
The pics are great!!!
Glad Ella didn't get her house
taken in the fire, or her Dad's.
We can't see anything from our
room. Some kinder said they saw
smoke but i had no idea where that
was at. Dad said he could see it from
the house.
How about the next time Patience needs
a ride home and you tell her your car
is full. ha ha.
Have a great week.
Love always.
